Access to the courtyard is free
Inside is the entrance to the Gardens and Country Park. Alongside being home to a number of independent businesses such as The Secret Garden Tearoom whose hours may differ.

Once the stables for the main house. It was built and designed by John Carr of York who was a famous Yorkshire Architect in the 18th century. He was responsible for buildings such as; Harewood House, Buxton Assembly Rooms and Fairfax House.
Secret Garden Tearoom
Serving fresh and beautiful sandwiches and light meals. Homemade cakes and freshly ground coffee.
Monday to Sunday - 10am to 5pm

In the heart of the courtyard and entrance to the country park is our Food & Farm shop, stocking local goods and Mr. Moo’s Ice Cream. This is where you can purchase an entry ticket and/or enquire about our Rewards Programme.

Painting your own pottery is a great way to relax, unwind and have fun with your creative side.
Open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11-3 pm, Saturday & Sunday 11-5pm and everyday in the school holidays 11-5pm

We are a small independent Nursery & Gift Shop nestled in the heart of rural North Lincolnshire with a great range of Plants and quality gifts.
Inspired by and located just outside the courtyard.

Welund Forge
Blacksmiths have worked on site since the 18th century and perhaps beyond. James Jarvis and his partner Denise have run Welund Forge Blackmith’s from the courtyard for several decades. From sword smithing, sculpture, tools, you name it.
