With over 300 ewes, Elsham Hall has one of biggest open lambing days in the country. Shepherd Warwick and his family have run the operation for well over a decade. The barn will be open to the public for 2 days only. Sunday the 31st March and the 7th of April. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to watch multiple lambs being born.
The event is included with Park and Garden admission which also gives you access to the Park and Gardens.No booking necessary, just pay at the door.

Pregnant women are advised not to attend this event as close contact with sheep during the lambing poses a risk to health for mother and unborn child from infections sheep can carry.
Good Hygiene practise is essential to avoid cross contamination of infectious diseases for both sheep and human. Please wash your hand on exit/entry and avoid touching.
