New Year, New Shepherds, New Flock, Familiar Faces
Young couple Olivia and Josh, both in their late 20s, have taken over the reins this year. Both have a long history of agricultural and animal husbandry experience. When the opportunity to build a flock at Elsham became available, it was a dream come true. Starting from scratch in 2024, they started building their new flock, which is currently just over 40 ewes strong.
They are extremely excited to share their first lambing with the public This April over two weekends, and you’ll be able to book lamb bottle-feeding experiences throughout the Easter holidays.
The event is included with Park and Garden admission, giving you access to the Park and Gardens. No booking is necessary, just pay at the door.

Pregnant women are advised not to attend this event, as close contact with sheep during lambing poses a risk to the health of the mother and unborn child from infections sheep can carry.
Good Hygiene practices are essential to avoid cross-contamination of infectious diseases in sheep and humans. Please wash your hands at exit/entry and avoid touching them.
